Dr. Brock Anderson thought about staying in California after finishing his training. But he chose to return to Casper and to Wyoming Medical Center, where he grew up and where his father is a surgeon. Brock knew firsthand that the doctors at Wyoming Medical Center are as good as any in a big city.
Dr. Anderson graduated from Kelly Walsh High School. During his general surgery residency at the University of California – Davis, he was named Resident Teacher of the Year and Outstanding Chief Resident as Clinician & Teacher. He pursued fellowship training in Trauma and Critical Care, and brought his skills back to Wyoming to work in the state’s only Level II Trauma Center.
“I’m very happy to be back to enjoy the quality of life that Casper offers and to provide surgical care for my fellow Wyomingites,” he said.
