Deedey Kidney is a certified family nurse practitioner at Immediate Care and Urgent Care.
She grew up in Casper since the age of 4. She became interested in medicine when her grandmother came to live with her family and needed help with medications and everyday living. "Helping her made me realize that I wanted to help people," she said.
Kidney earned her an associate's degree in nursing from Casper College and a bachelor's from the University of Wyoming. She earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. She has 12 years of nursing experience including six in a primary care setting and four in an urgent care clinic.
"I like being at Wyoming Medical Center because it offers a variety of medical services on top of hospital care for our community. I find this valuable for patients," she said. "I like Immediate Care because I am able to help patient the same day they need medical attention."
Kidney is married and has three children.
