Dr. Anderson is a general surgeon at Wyoming Surgical Associates specializing in general surgery, vascular surgery and trauma and critical care. He graduated from Kelly Walsh High School. He thought about staying in California after finishing his training, but he chose to return to Casper where he grew up and where his father is a surgeon. During his general surgery residency at the University of California – Davis, he was named Resident Teacher of the Year and Outstanding Chief Resident as Clinician & Teacher. He pursued fellowship training in Trauma and Critical Care, and brought his skills back to Wyoming to work in the state’s only Level II Trauma Center. He board certified in general srugery and critical care surgery. He completed a fellowship in trauma and critical care.

Dr. Anderson is a general and vascular surgeon at Wyoming Surgical Associations. He grew up in Casper and graduated from Natrona County High School. After his residency, he returned to Casper with his wife and three sons. For 25 years, he was the only board-certified vascular surgeon in Wyoming. In fact, he was one of several highly trained specialists and subspecialists who came to Casper to build a full-fledged medical center in the middle of a rural state. He is board certified in general and vascular surgery.

Dr. Beckstead is a board-certified general surgeon at Wyoming Surgical Associates. He also specializes in vascular and trauma surgery. He didn’t always want to be a surgeon. After growing up in Glenrock and marrying his high sweetheart, he worked in the oil field and dreamed of career in rock ‘n roll. After a couple of close calls, he looked for a career in medicine. He went to paramedic school, then to the University of Utah for medical school and to the Phoenix Integrated Residency Program for general surgery. He always knew he’d come back to treat his hometown patients.

Dr. Bowe is a board-certified general surgeon at Wyoming Surgical Associates. He has a special interest in trauma and critical care, and he completed a fellowship in the specialty at the University of Washington in Seattle. Bowe grew up in Gillette and ran track and cross country for Campbell County High School. He attended medical school as part of the WWAMI program – a partnership between Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho to train physicians who will work in western communities where they are needed. He is happy to return to his home state.
