#ThrowbackThursday: A visit from Santa, Dec. 22, 1982

By Kristy Bleizeffer Dec 25, 2014

A hospital stay isn't the easiest way to get a face-to-face with the big guy, but for little Pete Richie, it was highly effective. In this Dec. 22, 1982, photo from the Casper Star-Tribune, Santa is giving the grinning boy his undivided attention. (This year, a group of U.S. Marines helped Santa by delivering presents to our youngest patients as part of the Toys for Tots program.)

Here's hoping Santa gives you and yours as much love as he gave little Pete. Merry Christmas from all of us at Wyoming Medical Center.

#ThrowbackThursday is a series celebrating Wyoming Medical Center’s long and rich history in Natrona County.  Special thanks to the Casper College Western History Center which archives the vast Wyoming Medical Center collection of newspaper articles, photographs and other memorabilia.
