Erin Crowley, MD, is board certified in pulmonology, critical care, internal medicine and pediatrics. She is accepting new patients at Casper Pulmonary.
Dr. Crowley grew up in Northwest Indiana outside of Chicago. She wanted to be a physician from an early age, and she is the first doctor in her family.
She earned her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Research from Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, both in Indianapolis, Ind. She then completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency program at IU.
"During my residency, I realized that I really liked the transition of care -- taking care of adolescents and young adults with chronic diseases as they age into adult care. But I also loved the ICU and physiology and respiratory physiology, so I decided to do pulmonary/critical care for my fellowship," she said.
She moved to Casper with her husband and son and are looking forward to the many outdoor recreation activities. She is excited to work with the medical community in Casper and Wyoming Medical Center.
"I was very surprised when I got here and looked around. The medical staff seemed like a very diverse, experienced, knowledgeable group of physicians," she said. "It just seemed like everyone here had so much pride in what they do, both Wyoming Medical Center and Casper as a community. The hospital’s philosophy is, 'We’re going to provide the best care to the people in Wyoming,' and I just thought that was really special. They don’t want patients to have to go to other places for their medical care, and they want to grow and keep people here."
