Dr. Ketura Talbot is a board-certified family physician at Mesa Primary Care. She attended medical school through the WWAMI program (an acronym for participating states – Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho).
She grew up in the Big Horn Basin and graduated high school in Worland.
“I’m a local girl who came back to practice medicine in my home state,” she said. “I love the people and the down-to-earth attitudes that dominate here. “
She attended the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate degree and became interested in medicine after an intense class on bones. She also watched her brother struggle through several health problems and wanted to help other patients.
She enjoys camping and getting outdoors and is exploring photography and martial arts.
“I’m looking forward to getting involved in the community and getting to know more people. I am happy to be closer to my family, and I chose Casper because of the warm and friendly welcome I received when exploring the town.”
