Dr. Chakola is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He sees patients Wyoming Nephrology in Casper.
He was born in Bombay, India, and his interest in medicine developed from watching his father, a family physician, interact with patients.
"One of the main things that struck me as a young boy was when anyone was sick at home, the relief that they felt when they met my dad. And that was not only for the sick person, but also for their loved ones," Dr. Chakola said. "He taught me that to be a physician is to serve first."
He attended Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in India and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Mass. He completed a nephrology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and a clinical transplant fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle.
