Toni Patik is a certified physician assistant at Sage Primary Care.
She grew up in Casper and was an environmental chemist for 15 years before pursuing her career in medicine.
“I wanted to interact with people instead of instruments. I am a natural caregiver, and I needed personal contact,” she said. “I love getting to know my patients. It is a privilege when anyone trusts me with their health care.”
She earned her physician assistant degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She worked in family practice in Gillette for two years before returning to Casper in 2001 to join the local Veterans Administration clinic, where she practiced for 10 years. She then practiced for five years at Rocky Mountain Oncology followed by a brief time as a hospitalist physician assistant in Rock Springs.
She is anxious to return to primary care where she can treat whole families. While she specialized in children health during her training, she is accepting patients of all ages at Sage Primary Care.
She is married with two adult children. She is active in her church and sings in its choirs.
