ABM Healthcare Support Services
HHA Services is a contract management company serving hospitals and healthcare facilities in the departments of: environmental services, plant operations, patient transportation, valet service and laundry service lines. Check our Employment Portal for openings.
Air Methods is the primary support services contractor for our medical flight team.
HSS Inc. employs over 3,000 security people in 16 states, including those who provide security services at Wyoming Medical Center.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Full-time employees accrue 168 hours/year through two years of service, 192 hours/year through four years, 208 hours/year through 9 years, 248 hours/year through 19 years, 288 hours/year above 20 years of employment. There is a 200 hour maximum on PLT. This accrued time may be used for vacation, personal, holiday or sick time.
The administrative offices are closed and employees receive holiday pay (included in PLT accrual) for each of the recognized holidays; New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
A time-and-one-half per hour premium is paid for those working on the following recognized holidays: New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Night Shift Differential
15% of base pay for all hours worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Additional $1.50/hour for all weekend shifts worked, beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday morning, through 11:59 p.m. Sunday night.
All active benefit eligible employees working a minimum of 36 hours per pay period, excluding all licensed independent practitioners employed by contract, are covered under the Short Term Disability income replacement plan. All new hires and those who change to benefit eligible status become covered as of the first day of the month coinciding with or the next date following a 30 day waiting period.
Group Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
Full-time and half-time employees are eligible as of the first day of the month coinciding with or the next date following 30 days of WMC employment. Pre-tax and after-tax option split provisions.
Higher Prescription Reimbursement
Employees filling prescriptions at our pharmacy receive those prescriptions at a lower cost as well as higher reimbursement rates than if the same prescriptions were filled at another pharmacy in town. All prescriptions are automatically billed to our insurance company heron reducing the reimbursement paperwork for employees.
Flexible Spending Compensation
Employees may participate in two pre-tax spending accounts, Medical Flex Spending and Dependent Child Care. They allow you to set aside money before taxes to pay eligible health care and work-related dependent care expenses. Designated amounts for dependent care and out-of-pocket medical expenses are deducted from paychecks before taxes.
Basic Group Life Insurance & Basic Accidental Death/Dismemberment
Full-time and half-time employees receive one times annual salary (rounded to next higher thousand dollar) for life insurance and accidental death/dismemberment. WMC pays the cost and employee is eligible as of the first day of the month coinciding with or the next date following 30 days of WMC employment.
Voluntary Term Life Insurance & Voluntary Accidental Death/Dismemberment
Employees may elect to purchase additional life insurance and/or AD&D coverage for themselves, spouses, and dependents. This coverage is offered under affordable group rates and employee is eligible as of the first day of the month coinciding with or the next date following 30 days of WMC employment.
Voluntary Long Term Disability Insurance
You may elect to protect a portion of your income by contributing to purchase LTD insurance. You can enroll for 60% of your monthly income as your benefit level and employee is eligible as of the first day of the month coinciding with or the next date following 30 days of WMC employment.
Voluntary Supplemental Insurance/AFLAC
AFLAC will provide the following supplemental insurance: Accident/Disability, Cancer, Hospital Intensive Care, Long-Term Care, Specified Health Event. Please refer to the AFLAC website for more information.
401(k) Investment Plan with Matching Contributions
With a 401(k) plan, employees make tax-deferred contributions, up to the yearly IRS limits. WMC matches 100% of the first 3% contributed, and 50% for the next 2%. (If employees contribute 5% or more, WMC contributes 4% total.) In addition to the 401(k) plan, eligible employees can contribute to a 403(b) plan with Great West. The 403(b) plan is an employee contribution plan only and the contributions are subject to the IRS limits.
Three Trails Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
Three Trails Employee and Family Assistance Program is a counseling agency designed to respond to the needs of employees, spouses and dependent family members of participating businesses and organizations. Paychecks can be automatically deposited to the financial institution of your choice.
Child Care Center
Hospital-owned and operated, care is available 13 hours a day, Monday through Friday, providing quality care for children age 6 weeks through 10 years of age. Space is limited. Please contact Next Generation Learning Center at 577-2990 for availability, hourly rates and further information.
Most items in the cafeteria are discounted 15% for employees wearing their identification badge.

Wyoming Medical Center offers a comprehensive orientation for new graduates to help ensure they fit well and function effectively as part of our team. The Graduate-Nurse Residency builds upon your college education with activities that help you prepare for practice on your hired unit and shift.
The 12 month Graduate Nurse Residency includes 2 weeks of hospital and GN orientation, monthly didactic classes, rounding with interdisciplinary team members, as well as clinical shifts with a preceptor. Wyoming Medical Center also has a preceptor/mentor-ship program that lasts 18 months to support the new graduate throughout their transition to a professional nurse.
