Wyoming Medical Center welcomes Angela Lee Booth to our Immediate Care clinic in West Casper. Booth is a certified family nurse practitioner.

After traveling with her evangelical parents until she was about 7 years old, Booth grew up in Casper and earned her associate’s degree in Nursing at Casper College. She worked in the Emergency Room at Wyoming Medical Center for 12 years.

“I came to the ER as a new graduate, and I loved that kind of medicine. It’s like I was built for emergency medicine,” she said.

Booth earned her master’s degree in Nursing from Walden University, completing coursework between shifts in the ER.

Immediate Care is a walk-in clinic open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It treats minor sprains or broken bones, sore throats, fevers, minor infections such as those of the sinuses, ears or urinary tract, and other conditions that need immediate attention, but don’t require a trip to the emergency room. It offers on-site X-rays and labs, casting, drug testing and more.

“These services are critical to the west side of town, where there aren’t very many health services,” Booth said. “Being in the ER for 12 years, you would see people who had fallen through the cracks and gotten lost in the healthcare system. At Immediate Care, we can schedule follow-up appointments with patients who need them right then and there. Plus, our medical records are connected to Wyoming Medical Center’s network of clinics, specialists and hospital care.”

Booth is married and has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys singing at her church every Sunday.
