Throwback Thursday: Easter delivery in pediatrics, April 1983
By Kristy Bleizeffer Mar 29, 2018
If you're stuck in the hospital, where does the Easter bunny deliver his treats?
In 1983, kids at Memorial Hospital of Natrona County on Easter Sunday at least got a slice of cake. Buttrey-Osco bakery donated this Easter basket themed cake to our pediatric patients, according to the Casper Star-Tribune's Rick Sorenson. This photo published in the April 2, 1983 issue.
Here's wishing all of you a happy Easter season filled with family, friends and good health (cakes and candy notwithstanding.)
Throwback Thursday looks back on Wyoming Medical Center’s long, rich history in Natrona County. Special thanks to the Casper College Western History Center, which archives our vast collection of newspaper articles, photographs and other memorabilia; and to "Wyoming Medical Center: A Centennial History," by Rebecca A.
