Throwback Thursday: These 1950s-era patient rooms show how far we've come

By Kristy Bleizeffer Jun 26, 2014

If you haven't noticed, we're excited about the opening of our new McMurry West Tower this September. The tower will modernize our lobby and make our patient rooms more comfortable. We designed the whole tower built around the needs of patients and families, and we are proud of our efforts. (Look for much more on the new tower in the months ahead.)

We are also proud of where we come from. These three photos were found in the Wyoming Medical Center collection at the  Casper College Western History Center. They show a typical patient, operating and pediatric room from the 1950s. We don't know about you, but we think they look pretty cozy!
