Open. Safe. Here to Help. COVID-19 has changed many of our policies at Wyoming Medical Center. Here's what you can expect when you walk through our doors.
All Wyoming Health Medical Group providers are now able to make virtual appointments with their patients through TeleMed Wyoming. That means you can talk to your provider about your medications, new symptoms or other health concerns through the video technology of your smartphone, tablet or computer. Schedule a virtual appointment by calling your WHMG provider's office.
Wyoming Medical Center is the state's only hospital to earn the Leapfrog Group's highest grade for patient safety on the spring 2020 Hospital Safety Grade. Only one-third of hospitals in the country achieve an ‘A’ rating. Safe, high-quality care is what matters most to patients, and we’re proud of our commitment to positive patient outcomes through evidence-based care.
Growing up in Rawlins, Lauren Johnson, MD, knows what it’s like to travel many miles for specialized health care. At 17, she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and she traveled to and from Colorado, often on Wyoming winter roads. Dr. Johnson returns to Wyoming to offer rheumatology care to patients in Casper and across the state. She welcomes new patients to Wyoming Arthritis and Rheumatology in Casper.
Primary care providers work with patients over a lifetime and are the first stop to more specialized care. Our providers are accepting patients of all ages.
