Soon, you will be able to see a medical provider from the comfort of your home with TeleMed Wyoming’s video appointments.This service works similarly to Wyoming Medical Center’s network of walk-in clinics, except you can visit with a medical provider through the live video chat capabilities of your smartphone, tablet or home computer.

How does it work?

When a hospital partners with TeleMed Wyoming, it is equipped with Vici robots which are paired with Bluetooth tools such as a stethoscope. Remote physicians at Wyoming Medical Center are able to examine and converse with patients and physicians through the high-definition cameras and display monitors. Physicians can zoom in or out or swing their view from side to side to ensure a complete field of vision. Patient’s history, vital signs and other data are shared in real-time in consultation with the on-site physician.

What is TeleStroke?

TeleStroke is the inaugural program of TeleMed Wyoming, connecting our Primary Stroke Center team with partner Emergency Departments across the state. TeleStroke allows emergency room physicians in communities such as Lander and Gillette to consult with Wyoming Medical Center neurologists, interventional radiologists and other specialists to collaboratively devise the best treatment plans for stroke patients.

Regional Referral Center


The Regional Referral Center is a user-friendly resource for referring physicians, saving them time when they transfer medical, surgical, cardiac and trauma patients to Wyoming Medical Center. Telemedicine consults and transfers can be arranged from nearby hospitals and outlying regions of the state. The centers dedicated phone line and around-the-clock staffing ensures a rapid response. Referral specialists manage the logistics for a smooth and safe transfer.
