Visiting hours and restrictions

Effective April 1, 2022:

  • Visiting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Patients can have 2 visitors at a time, unlimited time but must be during visiting hours
  • Call (307) 577-7201 if you have questions about visitor restrictions
  • Masks required at all times regardless of vaccine status

Exceptions to the visitor restrictions:

Pediatric patients: Pediatric patients (under the age of 18) may have one guardian or support individual with them outside of visiting hours.
Persons with disabilities:
Patients with disabilities who, due to the specifics of the disability, require assistance from someone in order to effectively participate in the healthcare process will be allowed to designate a support person to accompany them while in Wyoming Medical Center or our clinics.
Moms in Labor & Delivery:
Moms in labor and delivery may have one support person. Doulas are also permitted for laboring mothers in addition to their support person and visitors. Doulas must leave immediately following the birth.
Emergency Department & Outpatient Procedure Areas:
One companion is allowed per day.

    Visits must take place in the patients’ rooms. This visitation policy is in effect for all Banner facilities in Colorado and Wyoming, including outpatient and ambulatory locations, such as: clinics, urgent cares, imaging centers, surgery centers and occupational health services locations.

    Some restrictions remain in place to create a safe and secure environment for our patients and our healthcare workers. We understand this will be challenging, but we’re committed to take the necessary steps to protect you, our patients, and the community. We will continue to monitor the spread of coronavirus, and make adjustments as needed.


    All authorized visitors are required to register and go through the check-in process to gain access to our facility. A photo ID is required each time visitors check in at the following entry locations:

    • Main Entrance
    • West Entrance near Sky Lobby

    Visitors will be issued a day-pass visitor badge that must be worn at all times while onsite. . In addition, they must have their own mask which should be worn at all times while inside the hospital or one of its clinics. We appreciate your cooperation.

    Drive-through respiratory symptom screening available in two locations

    Our Emergency Room and network of clinics remain open and safe. Please do not delay medical treatment, and call 911 in all cases of suspected heart attack, stroke, breathing distress and other medical emergencies.

    Both of the following clinics remain open for all other medical concerns. Patients will be evaluated in their cars to determine whether they will go inside the clinic or remain in their car to be evaluated and/or tested.

      Enter Melrose from 12th Street, then enter the alley from 10th Street
      *Please do not back up traffic on Conwell Street
    • Mesa Primary Care / Immediate Care
      3632 American Way
      Open every day, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
      Enter second driveway entrance to get in line for testing

    Call (307) 233-0202 with questions or for more information. If the phone line is busy or not answered, please be aware that call volume is high. Please report to the clinic in person and proceed through the drive-through lines.
