Halloween open house: Tour the new Pediatric Specialty Outreach Clinic on Oct. 29
Oct 15, 2019
The Olivia Caldwell Foundation and CU School of Medicine-Children’s Hospital Colorado, along with support of Wyoming Medical Center, are excited to show off the new Pediatric Specialty Outreach Clinic, located in the McMurry Medical Arts Building.
This new, welcoming space includes a play area with a child-friendly aesthetic. It is also the new headquarters of the Olivia Caldwell Foundation, a local nonprofit with a mission to fund life-saving cancer research and other programs that improve the lives of children battling cancer and other serious diseases in Wyoming and the surrounding areas. Cardiac specialists from CU School of Medicine-Children’s Colorado will begin seeing pediatric patients in the clinic in November. Pediatric clinics in endocrinology and pulmonology will start in early 2020 with others to follow.
We invite the community to tour new space at our Halloween-themed open house at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the McMurry Medical Arts Building, 419 S. Washington St. The Pediatric Specialty Outreach Clinic is on the second floor.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served. The event will also feature a Trick-or-Treat Trail, and children are invited to wear their costumes. The Wyoming Medical Center Haunted Ambulance will also have treats (and frights) in the McMurry parking lot.
We invite local providers, families and community members to help us celebrate this exciting expansion of pediatric medical services in Casper and Wyoming.
