With our new video visits, see a medical provider when convenient for you

Injury and illness rarely happen when it’s convenient. Now, you can see a medical provider from the comfort of your home with TeleMed Wyoming’s video appointments.

Care when you need it

This service works similarly to Wyoming Medical Center’s network of walk-in clinics, except you can visit with a medical provider through the live video chat capabilities of your smartphone, tablet or home computer. (Patients must be physically in Wyoming to use this service.)

TeleMed Wyoming’s video urgent care service puts you in control of when and how you get medical care. As an affiliate of Wyoming Medical Center, this service provides high-quality care with a direct link to the advanced specialists available in Casper. Upon entering the service, you will be asked to choose an appointment time most convenient for you. Same-day appointments are available.

Symptoms

Use TeleMed Wyoming video appointments to be evaluated for:

  • Seasonal allergies
  • Back strain or acute back pain
  • Coughs and colds
  • Ear pain
  • Influenza
  • Pink eye
  • Rashes
  • Sinus problems
  • Sore throats in adults
  • Urinary tract infections in adult females
  • Bronchitis
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Minor burns and abrasions
  • Vomiting and diarrhea
  • Headaches

Hours & Cost

This service is available 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

Cost is $59 and will be collected up front. Insurance is not necessary, and insurance will not be billed. No refunds are provided. For billing questions, please contact our billing department at (844) 913-1588 during normal business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

You will need a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone with a working camera and microphone. Devices must be connected to the internet. Iphone, Ipad and Android users will be prompted to download the TeleMed Wyoming patient app from the Apple or the Google Play stores.

For iOS devices, this service requires an iPhone 5s or later and iPad 5th gneration or later. Most Android devices running a minimum OS version are expected to work, but older models typically have a reduced frame rate and lower quality cameras.

Emergency care

This virtual Telehealth encounter is not a substitute for necessary EMERGENCY CARE. If you suspect that your symptoms/situation may warrant an emergency, please disengage from this Telehealth encounter immediately and dial 911 to initiate your local emergency response system. If at any time during your visit with the provider you are instructed to present to the nearest emergency room for emergency care and evaluation, you will be expected to do so, and you agree to assume full accountability for adverse outcomes related to any delay of your recommended care.

Narcotic/Controlled Substances Policy

Under no circumstances will controlled substances or narcotic pain medications be prescribed during these encounters, whether as new medications or as refills. Your provider will have the ability to e-prescribe non-controlled medications as deemed appropriate during the visit to a participating pharmacy near you.
