Women of Vision deck the halls of our new front lobby

Christmas has come to our new front lobby.
This beautiful 15-foot tree was donated by the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation's Women of Vision, a club dedicated to raising money to support women's health care in the region. You can see it on the first floor of the new McMurry West Tower.
"The club is a collaborative, informed and empowered force choosing to improve Wyoming Medical Center and enhance the lives of women," said Alisha Havens, the foundation's development director.
"This beautiful tree is just one of the many projects the women voted to support. They hope to bring joy to the patients and families that are being cared for during the holidays."
Women of Vision started last year with 28 women pledging $500 a year to support an identified health care need in our area. Each quarter, the women meet in a different member's home to learn about women's health from one of our community's physicians.
"Women have always played a significant role in Wyoming and health care," said Debbie Reid, club chairwoman. "I’m thrilled to be a part of this effort to help make a difference in our state and our hospital. Women who want to engage in friendships and be informed on women’s health issues are the perfect fit for Women of Vision.”
